SafetyIQ was born from the merger of JESI.IO, an Australian lone and remote worker safety app, and Safety Indicators, an American safety management software. Our challenge was to create a cohesive brand for this newly formed safety tech solution, built to protect people working in high-risk, remote, or solitary environments.
After digging into research and surveys, we uncovered a simple truth: when you work in dangerous environments, excitement is the last thing you want. This insight sparked SafetyIQ’s new tagline: “Predictability at work.” Because with the right safety technology, a boring day is a good day.
The brand identity had to strike a balance minimal and pared-back, but never cold or empty. It features a custom ‘Q’ logo that represents ongoing predictability. A single, no-fuss typeface kept things clean and straightforward, mirroring the brand’s love for simplicity. While the colour palette leans heavily on safety yellow — a bold choice that demands visibility and attention without too much excitment.
