PROBLEMT-LAB Technology is a small team of futurists that are embracing the inevitability and uncertainty of our planet’s destiny with open minds and groundbreaking technology. They required an annual report that visually communicated the radical, courageous and optimistic culture of the company and their ambitions.INSIGHTThe team’s internal ethos—"We treat failures like breakthroughs, and successes like beginnings"—served as the creative inspiration. This mindset, of constantly moving between extremes, defines their unique culture and drives their revolutionary solutions.
SOLUTION
Typography played a central role in visually expressing the team's approach. The juxtaposition of a delicate, italicized serif with a bold, all-caps wide sans-serif effectively conveys the radical thinking and contrarian attitude at T-LAB. The microsite features a minimalist color scheme, chosen to highlight the sophistication of the company’s technology. The accent color, a fluorescent green, injects a sense of optimism and vibrancy, which reflects the team's energy and commitment to pushing boundaries. The dynamic, ever-shifting layout of the microsite's content mirrors the constantly evolving world in which T-LAB operates, capturing the essence of their groundbreaking work and their ability to adapt to change.
