Three seasoned traders, each with decades of experience, grew tired of the bureaucratic B.S. of their corporate employer and decided to start their own company. This small team wanted a brand identity that would disrupt the stale landscape of meat industry brands.
This corporate employer was Portuguese, so, as a cheeky jab, the name Tenaz was chosen for their new brand ‘Tenaz,’ meaning ‘tenacious’ in Portuguese. The tagline came naturally—‘Unstoppable.’ This clever wordplay became the foundation for the brand’s positioning and creative direction.
A bull's head was subtly embedded into the silhouette of the wordmark, referencing both the meat products they trade and the 'Unstoppable' mindset of a charging bull. The typography conveyed a sense of solidity, groundedness, and strength. This conceptually rich design was paired with a monochromatic color palette and to create a refined and contemporary aesthetic.
